I am nearing the end of the development of my front cover, I'm am now only experimenting with different backgrounds and some changes in the amount of text and types of article, on of these will become my final design.

the top one was my first attempt, i got the image right but I don't think the logo looks natural

This is an advert i have been working on for a mountain bike upgrades . This could be placed in a hip hop magazine as the youth and thrill seekers my be intersted both products.

This is my first completed double page spread, i am satisfied that it is simplistic but affective.

This is my newest front cover after looking at some examples of existing rap music magazines.

I have done some research into magazines in the same genre as the one I will be making to pick out some key styles and conventions that i can apply to my own work. these include the lavish large images and the small blocks of text. The thing I have not included in my cover yet are overlapping of images and text witch is evident in all of theses examples, so i will try to instate this into my next iteration.

I have made a start on my double page spread, i a, Happy with the title and image but the rest is a working progress.

Unfortunately members of the group I was making a film with have pulled out so i now must make a music magazine in the time left, I have begun work on a fount page. my first two iterations are to the right.
